2015 @ The Movies Take 145 "Creed" What could have been the tired spinoff of a - literally - dying film franchise, stands on its own as a very solid film until the last round. More than a boxing film, African American director and co-writer Ryan Coogler portrays a black youth struggling to shape his identity in spite of an absent father. When "Rocky" originally came out, the Apollo Creed character was a way in for the African American audience. It is high time the black hero be front and center. Michael B Jordan's performance will make you forget the painful "Fantastic Four" and harkens back to Wallace in season one of The Wire. Adonis Creed stands with rogue stormtrooper Finn as the great black movie characters of 2015 : strong, smart and multifaceted. Experienced at Regal College Station Stadium 14 in Auditorium 14 on December 5.

2015 se paie une toile 145ème prise "Creed: L'héritage de Rocky Balboa" (Sortie française le 13 Janvier 2016). Ce qui aurait pu être la suite fatiguée d'une série - c'est le cas de le dire - mourante, est au contraire un film efficace qui tient le coup jusqu'au dernier round. Plus qu'un film de boxe, le réalisateur et co-scénariste Afro-Américain Ryan Coogler dresse le portrait d'un jeune noir luttant pour se forger une identité malgré un père absent. À la sortie de "Rocky", le personnage d'Apollo Creed était un point d'entrée pour le public afro-américain. Il est grand temps que le héros noir ait le rôle central. L'interprétation de Michael B. Jordan vous fera oublier le pénible "4 Fantastiques" et fera échos au jeune Wallace de la saison 1 de "The Wire." Adonis Creed, aux côtés de Finn, le stormtrooper déserteur de Star Wars VII, sont les meilleurs personnages blacks de cinéma de 2015: forts, intelligents et aux multiples facettes. Vu au Regal College Station Stadium 14 le 5 Décembre dans la salle 5.
